Favourite Yoga Pose: My practice adjusts
to what is needed intuitively at the time. I may need to wake up and work
on strength and vitality, or more on gentle rest and restoration. Both in
my personal practice and the yoga sequences I guide to students is led from
the heart and that quiet space from which all knowledge springs based on
observation of what is needed. From that a creative sequence flows based
the fundamentals of an IY class an always bringing in a good balance of
sound work, centering and opening, flexibility, gentle strength, pranayama
and relaxation with a meditative listening focus.
Life Inspirations/teachings: To stay open in times of conflict,
to honour the truth, to learn to love in each situation and accept what
is, as it is (one I am continuously in the process of learning). For these
teachings I am eternally grateful to Integral yoga and Sri Gurudev, along
with some other amazing life changing teachers I have been Graced by who
continue to help me gain greater clarity and understanding to integrate
all aspects of myself and therefore life. I am continually blessed and inspired
by the students in the areas of teach, who help me to become the best teacher
I can be.
